Here at the International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning a large percentage of our students are working towards launching their own business and as such will more often than not be facing the challenge of working from home. Personally I loved the freedom it gave me and being a very disciplined person I had absolutely no issue making the transition from a busy office to a peaceful home office. However, I know this isn’t the case for many and they do struggle with the boundaries, carving our personal time versus work time and many other obstacles that arise.
Having been in this position myself I wanted to share my experience and offer some advice and tips on how to make it work. So in this Academy TV Episode we will cover managing phone calls, time management, working hours and dealing with people who don’t think you have a real job because you work from home, yes it does happen even in 2016.
